My education

I studied Experimental Psychology at University of Oxford, graduating in 2018 with prizes.

I continued with a PhD in Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry, defending my thesis in 2022. During my PhD, I taught principles of CBT to research participants experiencing depression.

I am currently in the final year of a 5-year Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training in my home country, the Czech Republic, and a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.

I have also completed a specialised ISST-approved training in Schema Therapy (see certificates below).

At the moment, I have done about 3000 hours of mental health screening and treatment sessions.

My work experience

I deeply care about mental health and I have worked in several sectors that aim to make a difference.

During my undergraduate, I co-founded a successful Czech charity that provides mental health education. As a researcher, I’ve been involved in several studies and publications on psychological treatment.

I have also given Psychology lectures and tutorials at University of Oxford, University of Edinburgh and Masaryk University in the Czech Republic.

Lastly, I have written content for Mind Ease, a mental health app founded on principles of Effective Altruism.
